Z11PA-D8 comes with an optional Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC) enabling connector to support NVMe SSDs with Intel Volume Management Device technology. The NVMe SSDs are directly connected to the CPU, enabling latency reduction and increased bandwidth, while reducing power consumption by 15W compared to traditional hardware RAID cards.
