How do I reset my Samsung Galaxy light?
If you can get into the phone, you can reset it by going into Settings app. Switch to the Accounts tab. Click on Backup and Reset option. Click on Factory Reset and confirm that you want to erase everything.
If you can't get into the phone. When the phone is off, press and hold Volume UP, Power, and Home buttons at the same time. Release the Home button once the screen turns on. You will see a green android with its stomach open, with some recovery options. Use the volume keys to select Wipe data/factory reset option, and press the Power button to select. Then scroll down to the Yes option with the volume keys again, and press the Power button to select. Everything on the phone will be erased and reset to factory defaults.
