How do enable voice readout/talkback?

Yes, you can enable voice readout of all text and buttons on the screen. To enable/disable it,
- Use the navigation keys on the phone to highlight Tools & Settings and press the Menu/OK button
- Go to Settings, and press Menu/OK button
- Select Accessibility and press Menu/OK button
- Toggle Talkback/Readout On or Off, and press Menu/OK button.

How do I activate it

If you already have a SIM card that is already activated, you could just insert it, and it will work. If not, you could go to Verizon to get a SIM card.

How do you reset Orbic Journey V?

- Select Menu with the navigation keys and press OK. This will open the apps list.
- Go to Tools and Settings app
- Select 2.Settings
- Select 5.Phone Settings
- Select 6.Security
- Select 4.Reset Phone
- Scroll to the bottom until the RESET PHONE button is highlighted and press the Center key.
- Select ERASE EVERYTHING at the reset screen.

How do I check voicemail

Press and hold the 1 key. This is the voicemail shortcut. Enter password when prompted.

How do I turn it off

There's a red button towards the right center of the keypad, press and hold it to turn off the phone.

How do I change the battery?

It has a removable back cover, so you just remove the cover to remove the battery.

Is it unlocked?

We tested it with both AT&T and T-Mobile SIM cards, and it recognizes them fine. Unlocked does not mean it will work everywhere though. You should be fine using it in major cities, but rural areas can be spotty, depending on which frequencies each area runs on.

How do you text on Orbic Journey V?

You would text the same way you would on any flip phone, by using the number pad. The phone does come equipped with T9 technology, which assists in guessing words you're trying to type, so you don't need to cycle through the list of letter on each number key. To enable T9 mode, press the upper left button when the message textbox is highlighted, and select T9Word in the menu that pops up.
